Shy, guy Lewis is working hard to be big and brave. He’s made progress since he arrived and is as gentle and sweet as can be but still has a way to go to be comfortable with people. Once terrified to leave his kennel he is now eager to be leashed to go for a walk, especially if another dog goes with him.

His number one, very most favorite thing is to play with other dogs. Lewis is especially good at reading doggy body language and adjusting his play to meet his playmates style.

Still not entirely relaxed around people, Lewis needs a patient family willing to help him learn to trust people. A doggy brother or sister will help Lewis to feel safe. Helping Lewis transform from his current timid self to a confident, trusting dog will bring lots of joy to you and to Lewis!
