Churro has a couple of things that he really enjoys and is really good at. First—tennis balls! Fetching is definitely number one, even though he often makes a couple of laps around you before returning with the ball. Which works out fine, as Churro has energy to spare.
The other thing he excels at is learning. New commands, new games, new challenges. You can almost see the wheels turning in his head as Churro grasps a new activity. And once he has it, he can’t wait to show off. It makes teaching him fun and rewarding. Churro will need some leash instruction, but we notice that his manners improve merely by getting a chance to exercise.
The ideal family for Churro will provide physical and mental training, with “downtime” of pets and just hanging out.
