All you have to do is sit with Evan for a few minutes and you can tell there’s something special about him. Evan will gaze directly into your eyes, making an instant connection. When you talk to him, he looks at you as though he understands every word you’re saying.

Evan is gentle and friendly. He loves attention, and prefers petting and head scratches to chasing toys. He does have a hint of mischief in him as he likes to climb up high for a good view of his surroundings. A nice cat tree should help.

Evan has tested positive for the feline leukemia virus, but he’s happy and healthy and deserves a wonderful home. With good care, a low-stress life, and plenty of affection, many FeLV+ cats live long lives. Whatever the years, they can live happy lives with the same positive qualities as other cats.
