Feral Cats Needing Homes

Please view our first ever Petfinder Video showing some of the un-socialized cats that arrived at our shelter yesterday. About a dozen came in, most from a home that allowed a pair of stray cats to breed indiscriminately. There are 2 other homes trapping feral cats in addition to more coming from the colony that arrived yesterday. Unfortunately for the cats involved, their lives are at risk as they sit at the shelter waiting for employment as barn cats. We can not possibly house them for long as every last cage in our shelter is full. Do you know someone that can help? We have a vet coming in to the shelter on Wednesday who can spay / neuter and give rabies vaccines to them, if they have a home waiting for them. We ask that if the adopter can to please help us cover some of the cost of the surgery and vaccines, but it is not a requirement. Please pass along!!

This is probably 2 generations of cats in this group, with some being born in 2007, and most of them born in 2008 (many are just 6-8 months old).
